Bengali Community Service Centre of Canada
Since its inception in 2002, the Bengali Community Service Centre of Canada (BCSCC) has worked to combat homelessness and improve the lives of the community. The BCSCC, which places a high priority on community involvement, provides assistance to many people each year, indicating both its success and the continued support it has from both the Bengali community and the general Canadian public.
BCSCC was founded by members of the Ottowan Bengali community, but we aim to serve a broader and diverse community beyond just the Bengali diaspora. We place an emphasis on inclusivity and the expansion of our service beyond our founder's roots. We are consistently expanding our scope to serve a wider audience of different cultures.
We recently partnered with the Canadian Blood Services and had our first group donation on the 26th August 2023, with many more to come. Such partnerships can greatly contribute to raising awareness about the importance of blood donation and can have a positive impact on the community's health and well being. Regular blood donations are crucial for maintaining a stable blood supply for medical treatments, surgeries, and emergencies.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
